This error means that during the tuning process the device was not able to read vehicle info. To resolve this there are a few things to check:
- Vbatt- this is in the Device info tab, it tells you the voltage the PCM of your vehicle is getting from the battery. This needs to be at or above 12v with the key on.
- Making sure the Key is in the “On” position, this is two clicks forward after inserting the key into the ignition. For “Push to Start” vehicles, without holding the brake, hold the button for two to three seconds, it should say “full accessory mode”
- If the vehicle starts and runs and you are still getting this error after trying all the above, try to read vehicle info at another vehicle (needs to be the same make as your vehicle ex. Ford, GM, Chrysler).
