- Plug the device into the vehicle with the key on engine off.
- Go to the main menu on the device and select install download
- Follow the prompts on the screen (turning the key of, on etc.) until you get to the screen where it says there is a tune already installed, and it gives you the option to change settings or return to stock. Select return to stock.
- Continue following the on-screen prompts. Once the Screen on the triple dog is back at the main menu your vehicle is back to stock, and the tuner is no longer locked to that vehicle.
If the tuner says that it is locked to another vehicle, or has a VINMISSMATCH this means that the tuner is locked to another vehicle, or the ECM has been flashed.
These tuners cannot be reset or updated as they have been discontinued since January 1, 2010.
