What do I do if my Bully Dog GT Tuner is frozen on initializing communication?
If the GT is showing Initializing Communication, it is not receiving any feedback from the vehicle.
Things to try:
- Make sure the vehicle’s key is ON or turned to the RUN position.
- Verify the GT is set for the correct vehicle.
- From the main menu of your GT, select "show settings", It will read Vehicle Application and next to it will show you what the device is currently set for. If the application is incorrect, go to the Change Vehicle at the top of the Main Menu to select your correct vehicle.
- If the above conditions have been met, it may be an issue with the hardware. If you have a spare HDMI cable, try swapping the cable out.
